Study 31 translates the preserved nebula styles from Studies 14 through 21 onto the current full rectangular volume without modifying their archived sources. Gas and particles fill the middle, while both perimeter and interior lightning use the current strolling motion. Nebula distance applies a real world transform and automatic perspective-compensating scale.

Instrument, rotary, window, and button families each have independent form, material, colour, dimensions, edge shape, and optical controls. Material choice automatically determines whether a surface is transmissive or opaque.
